Scandinavian Embassy Amsterdam: Nordic deli in De Pijp

12 February 2014

Great coffee and yummy sandwiches at Scandinavian Embassy Amsterdam

I LOVE the Nordics! So I was very happy to discover Scandinavian Embassy in De Pijp in Amsterdam. I went there for lunch with a former colleague who now is the editor in chief of Cosmopolitan magazine. Cool job right? Scandinavian Embassy is a perfect hotspot to meet with friends for coffee or lunch. The location is very central in De Pijp just across from the Sarphatipark!

The small cafe was packed on Saturday and I understand why. The guys from Scandinavian Embassy are specialized in coffee. They serve the coffee as pure possible and have flavours from over the whole world. I had a Ethiopian drip coffee. That coffee is so sweet it doesn’t need any milk or sugar.

On the menu you find some delicious sandwiches with Nordic flavours. We both had the organic salmon on toast which is always a good and healthy choice. Ask for the lunch specials! The warm dishes looked really good as well!
