Dit soort succesverhalen, daar word ik altijd wel blij van. Stick-up Indofood begon met een eerste locatie in The World of Food in Amsterdam Zuid-Oost, daarna volgden een vast adres in het centrum van Diemen én nu een gloednieuwe take-out spot in Amsterdam Noord. Lang geleden heb ik wel eens bij World of Food hun gerechten geproefd. Dat ze nu een locatie hebben in Amsterdam Noord is daarom goed nieuws! Je vindt Stick-up Indofood Noord in een voormalige bloemenstal aan de Buiksloterweg, vlakbij de pont naar Amsterdam Centraal.

Add a slice of spanakopita and you have the best breakfast to enjoy along the Amstel river.

YES dears; I’m back from vacation and fully ready for Dutch spring, long lunches and spontaneous dates with my favourite city Amsterdam.
This weekend is packed with fun things to do! From an Italian market in West with @zicami_market, to the @tableware.amsterdam pop-up sale, treasure hunting at the @ijhallen and the @nocknock.art fair. There’s something for every day!

Note to self: altijd ruimte in je koffer houden voor ‘souvenirs’. Tijdens mijn ski-trip naar Méribel liep ik vlak voor vertrek nog even de lokale pharmacy binnen en dit zijn de beautyproducten die ik mee naar huis nam.
Inmiddels lang en breed getest en allemaal meer dan YLBB-approved. Saven maar voor je volgende tripje naar Frankrijk (of je online beauty store).

Op zoek naar een stijlvolle wintersportbestemming in Frankrijk? Méribel is zo’n plek waar álles klopt: mooie ski-in ski-out hotels, goede restaurants op én naast de piste, fijne spa’s en voor als je er zin in hebt après-ski.
Ik was er een weekend zonder m’n little FAM, maar wist meteen: dit is óók perfect voor het hele gezin dankzij de vele groene en blauwe pistes, dus we gaan zeker nog eens terug!

⦁ Met de trein op wintersport? Ik zeg doen! Deur tot deur via Parijs (Eurostar + TGV + bus) naar Méribel in iets meer dan 10 uur. Vond het heel erg relaxed!
En nog leuker om er de volgende keer een nachtje Parijs aan vast te knopen of course.

While I’m currently hopping from hotel to hotel and neighborhood to neighborhood in Bangkok (all in the name of “research” and new food hotspots for the new LITTLE BLACK BOOK 😉). Back home, Amsterdam is serving peak weekend vibes.
Think: Dim Sum Sunday in Noord, vibrant Chinese New Year celebrations across the city and a Vietnamese Tết feast at @yen.diningbar. Add market gems like the @le.temps.perdu.brocante pop-up in Oud-West and @themakermarket at De Hallen, and your weekend basically plans itself.
And yes, make time for ARTIS: there are now two elephant calves and they’re too cute. 🐘🐘 Instant serotonin incoming, I promise!

Nog steeds zo blij dat we redelijk spontaan een elope wedding in Thailand hebben gedaan met just the three of us in de kerstvakantie in plaats van voor altijd verloofd te blijven ❤️. Zou het zo weer doen!

Het menu van Stick-up Indofood Noord
Persoonlijk denk ik dat een sit-down restaurant ook heel goed voor team Stick-up Indofood zou werken (leuk detail: het wordt gerund door broer en zus!). Wie weet wat de toekomst gaat brengen, maar voor nu moeten we het doen met take out. Ze zijn vanaf de lunch geopend tot 21.00 uur en op de menukaart van de locatie in Noord vind je daarom gerechten van lunch tot diner. Sandwiches met rendang, saté ajam of veggie met gekruide tofu of tempeh. De to go boxen zijn perfect, voor een tientje eet je al lekker fried rice met vlees, kip of vega. Ik ga zelf snel één van de saté menu’s proberen, want nog altijd op zoek naar de lekkerste saté van Amsterdam. En… vergeet als dessert natuurlijk niet een stukje spekkoek mee te nemen!
