Stay hotel Copenhagen: luxury design city apartments

15 May 2013

Stay hotel Copenhagen: for urban hotspotters!

One of the most trendy area’s in Copenhagen is the Meatpacking district. The perfect hotel to discover this neighbourhood is Stay hotel Copenhagen! Stay originated as a creative centre and location to host events and grew into a hotel. The design Stay hotel Copenhagen consists of trendy apartments decorated with furniture of my favourite brand Hay. Just across the water from Vesterbro this is one of the most beautiful apartments I have ever stayed at abroad. So spacious, clean and trendy decorated with black and white furniture. Love it! I really liked opening all the doors to the balconies in the morning to enjoy the stunning view on the skyline of Copenhagen. You really have to push yourself to go out when you book an apartment at Stay hotel Copenhagen. The bathroom is full with Aveda beauty products, which smell very good, fresh and minty. You just feel at home so much! The bigger apartments have a fully equipped kitchen, which is nice to make breakfast in the morning and if you want to relax a bit with your own drinks and snacks. There is free coffee and tea too. There is a very good supermarket right next to Stay hotel Copenhagen if you want to buy drinks. I advice to rent a bike at the hotel for 150 crowns a day. It’s the perfect transport in Copenhagen! From Stay hotel Copenhagen it’s only 10 minutes by bike to the heart of Vesterbro and not more than 15 minutes to the city centre or Norrebro. I also like the fact that Stay hotel Copenhagen is walking distance from the trendy Meatpacking district which is very nice for dinner and drinks at night! My favourite restaurant at the Meatpacking district is PatePate for a more upscale dinner and Mother for pizza. Bars / clubs at the Meatpacking district are Karrierre and Jolene. Also fun on Sunday is the huge shopping mall with cinema called Fisketorvet. At the Islands Brygge promenade more towards the citycentre there is a flea market on Sunday on the waterfront. I hope to stay at Stay again in the future!
