Good news for everyone who loves a good glass of bubbly. The Champagne Club in Amsterdam is a pop-up that’s open for two weekens in December at the same location at The Breakfast Club on the Wibautstraat. This news makes me happy! And if you’re a regular reader of Your Little Black Book I’m sure this makes you smile too! What to expect at The Champagne Club in Amsterdam? During the weekends of December 8-11 and 15-18 all-day breakfast spot The Breakfast Club transforms into The Champagne Club in the evening.
From Thursday evening to Sunday evening champagne-lovers can enjoy the best champagnes by the glass and order from 18 different qualities of the brands: Moët & Chandon, Veuve Clicquot, Ruinart, Dom Pérignon and Krug. On my latest press trip to the Champagne region I had a chance to taste several flights of Moët & Chandon and Dom Pérignon. Such a treat!
Champagne tastings
At The Champagne Club you can enjoy champagne while they serve complimentary amuses to enhance the flavours. During this pop-up you can also do a champagne tasting with a luxury ‘champagne flight’.
This place makes me want to drink champagne and dance on the table ;-). The club is open during the weekends from 5 – 11 pm at the Wibautstraat 56. Check the website of the pop-up for more information!
