Dubai is restaurant heaven for foodies (without a budget!)
It’s hard to imagine that there are any bad restaurants in Dubai. And as you know we love to eat out and enjoy the best food wherever we travel. So in Dubai we tried and tested many restaurants for you. Trust me when I say that eating out in Dubai is not cheap. No it’s actually a bit expensive. So whenever you go to Dubai for a city trip do your research and pick a restaurant that suits you. And your budget ;-).
The Peruvian kitchen is also gaining popularity. So enjoy delicious ceviche!
Tip: make sure to book a table for the best restaurants in Dubai. It seems if all of Dubai is going to eat out every night. Restaurants are busy! Asian food is super popular in Dubai. And I have to admit… sashimi is always a good idea to me. As well as tender steaks at one of the great steak and grill restaurants. The Peruvian kitchen is also gaining popularity. If you like the Peruvian kitchen and Latin American tastes then Coya is a restaurant you can’t miss in Dubai. Coya has a location in London as well and recently opened a restaurant in Dubai. The menu is full of great food with dishes like ceviche and grilled meat. And of course they have a Pisco lounge! With the best Pisco sours in Dubai. The interior design of the restaurant is very cool. With inca style decoration and a mix of colours and dark wood. Very cosy!
zuma >> BEST RESTAURANTS IN DUBAI >>
If you like Asian food you should definitely dine at Zuma! Zuma is a wonderful looking restaurant which for a change is not located in a hotel. Enjoy a drink at the bar before you sit at your table. Again, booking a table is a must at Zuma. They work in shifts, so if you want a nice long dinner, try to book the last shift. The Chef’s menu is great and highly recommended if you want to enjoy everything what this fantastic restaurant has to offer. Who does not like sushi, can feast on the Wagyu beef or marinated black cod fish.

Fancy a French dinner in Dubai? La Petite Maison is a great restaurant which is located within the Gate Village in Dubai. The interior is very classic: French chic with a modern twist. They have an open kitchen where you have a great view on the Chef. I always think it’s very cool to see the dynamics in the kitchen of a good restaurant. The menu at La Petite Maison offers a wide selection of dishes that are made for shared dining. And as in all restaurants in Dubai the service is fantastic. Try the tuna carpaccio and sea bass in salty crust!
The Palm Grill >> best restaurants in Dubai >>
At The Palm Grill you have a great view on the Arabian Gulf. They have a large selection of seafood caught every day. Just choose the fish you like from the buckets and they make it just the way you like it. Or try the Omani lobsters which are said to be very delicious! You have a great view on the sundown at The Palm Grill. So go early for dinner and start the night with a cocktail!

Do we need to explain that the sushi and sashimi at Nobu is among the best in the world? In Dubai Nobu is located in the Atlantis hotel on Palm Island. This hotel is amazing and an iconic building on the palm. As all Nobu restaurants the interior design is Asian chic. Lots of dark wooden materials and red-ish colours. Make sure to book a table at Nobu and bring a lot of money ;-). The sashimi will melt in your mouth! And also try the spicy tuna. Tip: on Friday the Altantis hotel has a brunch with great sushi as well!
Porterhouse >> best restaurants in Dubai >>
If you like good meat then Poterhouse is a restaurant you shouldn’t miss when you’re in Dubai. This fancy restaurant is located in the beautiful Sofitel The Palms Resort & Spa on Palm Island. On the menu you find a large choice of cuts grilled to perfection. I can highly recommend to try the signature Porterhouse steak and share it with your love. It’s so good! They slice the meat for you at the table. Trust me: this restaurant in Dubai is for true carnivores!
Dubai Fish Hut >> best restaurants in Dubai >>
As you all know great food is not only about fancy hotspots. We love to go to local lowspots as well! The Dubai Fish Hut Restaurant is a hidden gem. Before there was Tripadvisor only the locals knew about it and stood in line for the food. This restaurant sells fresh fish and offers the catches of the day. The fish will be weighed and freshly prepared for you. As a side dish you can order delicious dosas (Indian pancakes) and curry sauce . Do not expect luxury, seriously, this place is not fancy at all! For example, you sit on plastic chairs. Come early to avoid the long queue. Tip: make a (romantic) walk on Jumeirah Beach after dinner (yes, the beach where the Burj Al Arab stands).
