Marlow and Sons, hotspot worth while to walk those couple of blocks

What’s not to love about this dark, small and cozy place with its long picnic tables and candles? Get off at the metro station at Bedford and walk to here. It would obviously be easier if you take the metro to Marcy Street (subway J, M, Z) but definitely not as nice. And Williamsburg has so many nice bars where you can start your evening with a view good cocktails.
It does get busy at Marlow and Sons, you will probably have to wait for a while. So you might not want to go there with a complete empty stomach. Aaaand maybe also because the portions are not that big. Well let’s call them sophisticated. The portions I mean.

The rabbit leg was so tender and juicy and well combined with the sauerkraud and cranberries. I do wish they would have a main course for vegetarians…
This place is perfect to go to as a couple or with friends. The youngsters at the table next to us probably tricked their parents into eating here. The food and dark wooden interior is great, it’s not about that. But the loud minimal house music could be a problem for our older red colored pantaloons wearing parents. Don’t get me wrong. I’m totally loving the music and the vibe that comes with it. And I know you will too.
They also serve breakfast and lunch here. But see how damn cozy it looks in the evening! I’d definitely come back for dinner again. But then again, I’m really a typical lots-of-candles-in-dark-rooms-is-sooo-cozy kind of person…
It’s places like this that always make me happy even thinking off, over and over again!
