Gilian Originals: hidden gem in de Nieuwe Spiegelstraat

1 April 2015

This cute jewellery is handmade in Amsterdam: meet Gilian Originals!

At Your Little Black Book we love everything that is made in Amsterdam.  And especially if you can wear them everyday ;-). A few weeks back I was having one of those juicy burgers with my love at Lombardo’s in the Nieuwe Spiegelstraat. When we strolled down the street and looked at the window of a gallery I spotted the cute jewellery store of Gilian Originals in the basement. A real hidden gem! Would have missed this spot completely otherwise. And that would be a shame!

Gilian Originals AmsterdamAt Gilian Originals they have handmade jewellery that is of better quality than in most stores. They are made from 14-24 carat gold! The designs are inspired by the seventies and Ibiza and Gilian makes them herself in this small atelier and store. I love the bracelets! They are great to combine together and look so fragile. Very feminine! And every now and then you should spoil yourself with a little gift. I couldn’t resist the arm-candy with green Onyx!
