Yumler Amsterdam: for healthy comfort food in West

7 March 2017

Yumler Amsterdam is your new hotspot in Amsterdam West if you want to eat good and healthy food for an affordable price, but don’t want to spend hours wandering around the supermarket. Yumler Amsterdam understands the issue of picking out your groceries and then later on eating something completely different (or even ordering from foodora) like no other. At Yumler you eat healthy food for the same price as those groceries you would’ve bought but probably wouldn’t have cooked.

You could compare Yumler Amsterdam with a canteen, order your food, drinks and snacks at the counter and then wait for your meal at your favourite table. Because Yumler Amsterdam is a substitution for cooking at home you can eat different food there multiple times a week. The menu has 5 main courses: 1 vegan, 2 vegetarian, 1 fish and 1 meat. Think of a Mexican fish stew, fish curry served with wild rice, coconut, and pickled beetroots, or a half filled pumpkin from the oven. A lot of veggies, which we love! Tip: order one of the selfmade lemonades with your meal, like Pinky Rose.

The interior is refreshing, open and colourful, it gives off the ultimate spring feeling. Not only is the interior colourful with high contrast, but so is the food. In other words, bright pink beets, orange pumpkins, red soup and yellow tortillas. Nice!
