Yubu Bento Amsterdam: for Japanese onigiri and inari sushi

Yubu Bento has just opened on Kerkstraat in Amsterdam, bringing a touch of Japanese comfort food to the city center. It's all about inari sushi: small pockets of fried, slightly sweet tofu (aburaage) filled with sushi rice and various toppings. Simple, fresh, and surprisingly delicious. It's the kind of place you stop for a quick bite! The shop is small, but the bench out front makes it cozy to eat your order right away.

Besides inari, the menu also features onigiri, fresh sashimi, and miso soup, perfect for warming up on a busy day. The selection of inari sushi is extensive: more than ten varieties, enough to make you instantly overwhelmed. Think varieties with beef bulgogi, kimchi, tuna, and my favorite: the inari with tobiko roe and Japanese mayonnaise. Everything is freshly prepared, and you can taste it! Trust us, a quick stop at Yubu Bento will easily become a regular ritual.
