Yellow River Lanzhou Noodles Amsterdam is a place close to our hearts! We already knew the place from Rotterdam, where it's incredibly popular. Amsterdam (thankfully!) couldn't stay behind, so Yellow River opened a second location at Leidseplein.
Next to a number of tasty ramen restaurants in Amsterdam, it was time for us to get a Yellow River restaurant. This place had been a big hit in Rotterdam for a while, and the capital couldn't afford to miss out. At this new hotspot, they pull their noodles fresh by hand, and you can taste it! This artisanal process is called La Mian in China – 'la' means pulling and 'mian' stands for noodles. Making these fresh noodles is an art in itself. Practice makes perfect, because it takes years to become a seasoned chef. So, good news, we can now enjoy this in Amsterdam too, without having to master the art ourselves.
The arrival of Yellow River in Amsterdam-Centrum This means you no longer have to travel far for a bowl of fresh, hand-pulled noodles. The menu includes traditional beef noodle soup, beef curry noodles, stir-fried handmade noodles, and ground beef noodles. Prefer vegetarian? No problem, just try the homemade noodles with egg and tomato. Also delicious: choose one of the cold noodle dishes – perfect for summer days. And good to know: the menu is completely halal.
Whether you're in the mood for a quick lunch or a hearty dinner, Yellow River Lanzhou Noodles Amsterdam is the place to be. Prefer to enjoy your noodles at home? Takeout is also available – perfect for a lazy Sunday, we'd say.
