Pop-up restaurants…. we love it! So block your agenda, invite your friends and book a table at “Winterlicht” (translated as Winter Light), the new pop-up by Fort Pampus. Last summer I already went to this little island close to IJburg to enjoy their summer pop-up Zomerlicht. A lovely evening of wining and dining with a great view over the IJ lake. And we have good news, because this pop-up restaurant is coming back this winter!
A night at Winterlicht starts with a boat trip from IJburg that will bring you to the island in 30 minutes. Don’t forget to bring cash if you want to drink something on the boat because last summer they only took cash. The Chef from Winterlicht will cook a 3 course dinner for you made with locally sourced ingredients where possible. You can have dinner at the pop-up restaurant from November 3 to December 17 from Thursday to Saturday. The boat leaves at 18.30 and tickets cost € 57,50 (excl. drinks). From this ticket € 10,- is used to preserve the heritage of the island.
