Have you never had a piece of apple pie at Winkel 43 in Amsterdam? Shame on you! ;-) Here you eat Namely, the absolute best apple pie in Amsterdam. How many times have I sat down here on a Monday morning after a visit to the Noordermarkt? With a cappuccino, apple pie, and sometimes a dollop of whipped cream. Because, well, sometimes you can treat yourself a little.

Winkel 43 is one of those Amsterdam cafés beloved by both tourists and locals. In the winter, you can sit comfortably inside, but in the summer, they have a lovely terrace where you can sit in the sunshine! You can also enjoy people-watching as they come to and from the market. Hoping you can find a spot, though. It's always incredibly busy. But luckily, no one minds sharing a table here.
