Williams Farmhouse Amsterdam is the latest addition to the team behind Café Garçon and Brasserie Margaux, but the concept is anything but French. Here you can enjoy British classics, as you'd only find in the English countryside.
At Williams Farmhouse Amsterdam, you'll instantly feel at home. Well, it's not like you're at home, but the atmosphere and interior are so cozy, rustic, and warm that it's a place you'll instantly fall in love with.
This new establishment from the team behind Café Garçon and Brasserie Margaux is, as the name suggests, inspired by a quintessential British farmhouse and the rich culture of the British countryside. Think: lots of wood, checkered windows, and classic silver cutlery.
Their Instagram shows the first Beef Wellington being served from their own kitchen. But as befits true Englishmen, there's a good chance they'll also be hosting a Sunday Roast, as Williams Farmhouse is open daily from noon to 11 p.m.
Williams Farmhouse is the first farmhouse in Amsterdam to pay tribute to British traditions in this way. The popularity of the English farmhouse was already evident, thanks to Soho Farmhouse near London – incredibly expensive, but always fully booked. Brits love to escape the city, especially when it involves tradition and good food. Williams is now creating precisely that atmosphere in our capital. Williams opens its doors on Friday, December 13th.
If you are looking for a nice place for lunch or dinner with family, Williams is perfect for it.
