2. Waroeng SS: The SS stands for special sambal, and this might just be the best Waroeng in Yogyakarta. This restaurant also has several locations, but the ones below are said to be the best.

3. Warung Makan Bali Bima Kroda: This Waroeng is a little further out from the tourist center but is a favorite with the locals!

4. Rumah Makan Kebon Ndhelik Bausasran: This Waroeng is about a 15-minute walk from Jl. Malioboro and serves delicious authentic Javanese dishes.
