Did I catch your attention with Wagyu Wednesday? I thought so! There’s nothing better than meat that melts in your mouth. The Japanese gold of beef is renowned for its tenderness, rich flavor, and beautiful marbling. How does this meat become so tender? It’s said that it’s due to the massages the cattle receive, and it’s no surprise that Wagyu is among the most luxurious products in the world. For an exclusive and newly launched menu, chef Schilo van Coevorden of Taiko Cuisine in Amsterdam has created fantastic dishes with Wagyu as the star ingredient. So, what can you expect?
This is Wagyu Wednesday at Taiko Cuisine in Amsterdam
As one of the first in Amsterdam, I had the privilege of dining at Taiko Cuisine for Wagyu Wednesday. An exclusive 8-course menu with Wagyu as the centerpiece. A celebration of various preparations, building from sashimi to nigiri and from a classic Wagyu sando to Wagyu on the Hibachi grill. The Wagyu experience is an omakase menu, meaning that there may be small changes, and the chef decides. The menu costs €149 and is available every Wednesday by reservation. Perfect for celebrating something special!
| TIP: Want to stay overnight after dinner? You can at the beautiful Conservatorium Hotel.
