Vondeltuin Amsterdam: relaxed cafe at the Vondelpark

Vondeltuin Amsterdam: perfect to enjoy the sun at the Vondelpark

I love the beautiful Vondelpark in Amsterdam. It’s green, has water pools and feels like the backyard of all who live in Amsterdam! The sound of the birds and the relaxed vibe make the Vondelpark a nice place to hang out. There are a few restaurants at the Vondelpark where you can enjoy the park surrounding by trees. The Vondeltuin Amsterdam is one of those restaurants. Here you experience a very relaxed vibe! Kids can play at the play yard next door and parents can enjoy a coffee or wine at the same time. I don’t have kids but like to go there for drinks and dinner after a day at the park. With sunny weather they have a cocktailbar outside serving delicious mojito’s! For dinner the Vondeltuin Amsterdam has several specials of the day and dishes like pasta, hamburger, caesar salad and tapas. Tapas are always a good idea, specially if you like to eat light and taste a bit of everything. My favourites are the spicy meatballs and Turkish bread with aioli. The Vondeltuin Amsterdam is always crowded! But the location is so nice it’s worth waiting for a table.
