There are some hotspots that deserve an update every now and then. And Volt It's definitely one of them! At Yourlbb, we're fans of this great gastrobar on Ferdinand Bol. And we're not the only ones: every evening, it's packed with people who come for a bite to eat or a drink.
Volt was renovated at the end of 2014, and we haven't been able to stay away since. Is it the warm, cozy interior? Is it the relaxed atmosphere and friendly service? Is it the good food, the (special) beers, or the G&Ts? You heard it... Volt has it all.

The interior is a mix of vintage and industrial. We love it at Yourlbb. A cool, sleek design with the coziness of vintage elements. Here, you can hang out at the bar for a drink (although I personally always enjoy a bite to eat at the same bar), take a seat at the wooden tables, and when the weather is sunny, you'll be fighting for a spot on the terrace.

The menu features organic dishes inspired by French cuisine. A bonus: the menu changes regularly! Think of dishes like squid, vegetarian lasagna, a salad, burger, bavette, risotto, or grilled fish. Affordable at under 20 euros, but oh so delicious!
What's always on the menu, however, are the oysters, which I always order as an appetizer. Just like the mini croquettes with prawns and the cheese sticks. They're simply too good with a cocktail or a good glass of wine! But you're also in the right place if you're a beer lover: Volt has a wide selection of (specialty) beers from local breweries. And definitely worth a visit for gin & tonics. So what doesn't Volt have? Nothing, if you ask me. And that's why we love this gastrobar on Ferdinand Bol.
