Venster 33 Amsterdam: new hotspot at the Pijp

26 April 2015

Small dishes to mix and match at Venster 33 Amsterdam

Venster 33 Amsterdam is the newest hotspot in De Pijp! A café restaurant founded by actor Cas Jansen – also known from Goede Tijden Slechte Tijden (good times bad times, a tv show) and All Stars ;-) – and his two companions. Do you remember Helden? That’s where you can find Venster 33 now! Open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks. G&T’s on the menu here!

On the menu you furthermore find small dishes to mix and to match. I already know I definitely wanna try the steak tartare. But the Dutch dish with pumpkin, beetroot and mustard also sounds delicious. And nice to know: all the dishes at Venster 33 Amsterdam have something to do with Amsterdam. Think of shrimp croquettes from Holtkamp, sausage of Brandt & Levi and wine of the Grapedistrict.

And did you know… The name Venster 33 refers to the Canon of Amsterdam? A list of the 50 major events and developments in the history of Amsterdam. In this list Amsterdam is divided in 51 “vensters”, areas. And de Pijp is area number 33!
