Dinner by Dock - BAUT X HELLING7
There's no doubt that SAIL 2025 will be spectacular. But if there's one event you absolutely don't want to miss, it's Dinner by Dock. For three days, Helling 7 and BAUT are joining forces for an unforgettable pop-up restaurant. Located in a dry dock at Damen Shiprepair, one of the most unique nautical locations right on the IJ River in Amsterdam-Noord!
Dining under a gigantic ship during SAIL 2025
Imagine: a beautifully set table in the middle of a dry dock where ships are normally maintained. Surrounded by industrial history, rugged details, and above you, a massive ship lifted out of the water for maintenance. It sounds almost surreal, but this is exactly what awaits you at Dinner by Dock.
Only a few hundred guests per lunch and dinner seating can be accommodated here, and only from August 21st to 23rd during SAIL 2025. An exclusive setting, where you'll experience SAIL in a way you won't soon forget.

BAUT and Helling 7 will provide the menu during SAIL
The creative kitchen team from BAUT and Helling 7 will prepare a four-course dinner or lunch perfectly suited to this unique location. As the tall ships sail across the IJ, you'll enjoy delicious dishes, great company, and an atmosphere you won't find anywhere else at SAIL.
Before or after dinner, you can visit the rest of the Damen Experience grounds for the publicly accessible SAIL program with music and maritime demonstrations.
