It has become one of the most sought-after hotspots in this part of the capital, and after one visit, you'll know it's definitely worth it.

The idea was to keep good cuisine simple, and the same applies to the interior. Light wood hints at Scandinavia – known for its exceptional yet simple cuisine – while the tiles on the floor evoke old Amsterdam. It's a place captivating through its contrasts and the fact that everything works. You'll immediately feel at home at Troef Amsterdam. The staff is enthusiastic and knowledgeable and can tell you all about the menu and accompanying drinks.

Troef in Amsterdam-Oost is the perfect place for dinner and quality wines. You can choose the latter yourself in their wine room, which houses over 3000 bottles. These wines aren't paired with the menu, but rather based on the owners' preferences. For dinner, Restaurant Troef offers a fusion of French and Italian cuisine, which can be quite overwhelming. A classic shrimp cocktail, panzanella salad, or perhaps the fried langoustine? We recommend heading to Troef with a big appetite, because choosing between one dish that sounds even better than the next is impossible.
