From Rovaniemi, we first drove to Pyhä. There, you can ski, among other things, and enjoy many other winter activities. After a few days in Pyhä, we continued on to Salla. This region is known for its peace and tranquility. It's truly special when sometimes all you hear is the crunching of the snow.

A few things to definitely do during a trip to Finland, Lapland, include reindeer safaris, dog sledding, snowmobile tours, snowshoe hikes, and a visit to a traditional sauna.
