Toni & Guy Rozengracht Amsterdam: the salon’s little rebel brother

5 December 2016

looking for a good hair stylist and colourist in the city center?

Do you recognize this? You just moved to Amsterdam and have nu clue where to find a good hair dresser. Or you’re going to the same hair dresser for years but what you really need is a fresh approach. My tip is to go for a free consult to the new salon of Toni & Guy at Rozengracht. It’s run by Max who worked for the brand in the UK before and later in Amsterdam. This new branch of Toni & Guy at the Rozengracht opened a few months ago and is different than the other salons of the brand. It’s small, has a more unique interior compared to the other branches and is run by the philosophy of Max. It’s almost like it’s the little rebel brother of the salon in Old South.

During the free consult Max and his team look at your personal style and how you take care of your hair to create a personal styling advice. The only thing you have to do after that is to lean back and enjoy your cappuccino and chocolate of  Choc and Rock and the specialists will work on your hair. I was there a few weeks ago to get rid of my grey (OH LORD!) hairs and I’m really enthusiastic about the products they use of Fabuloso, a brand I haven’s seen in other salons in Amsterdam yet. They can mix a conditioner especially for your colour so you can treat your colour better at home. I can really tell the difference after a few weeks. The colour lasts longer!
