Come with me to get breakfast in Taipei 🥢 Straight from the airport to this little spot to taste soup dumplings and so much more! That's what I call a soft landing 😉
Just back from Catalonia and I thought: I'll share some tips right away. During our road trip, we stayed two nights in the Ebro Delta. An incredibly fun stop for families and foodies alike, where there is plenty to do. · A boat trip to the Musclarium is a must! Here you eat oysters and mussels straight from the farm, in the middle of the sea. · Admire the flamingos and black ibises that can be found here all year round. · Rice is grown in the Ebro Delta all year round. For paella, but Kensho also makes sake and miso from it! You can visit them during a tasting. · Cycling along the rice fields, canoeing on the Ebro River, and visiting various beaches. It was still a bit too cold now, but there is plenty to do. · The towns are very low-key and not that exciting, but you can find fantastic local food there. From the Michelin-awarded Les Moles* to local eateries like Vermuteria Bonmarisc and Lo Tinglado. We ate a lot of fish, but also anemone fritters (a first!). Now back to work, and I’m going to create an extensive travel guide of this road trip through Catalonia, but you’ll want to save these tips for a future adventure. ✖️✖️✖️ 🖊️ @anne_de_buck { In this post, I share tips for the Ebro Delta in Spain (Delta de l'Ebre). PUUR JONNIE, an ode to Jonnie Boer. Today I had the honor of being at @delibrijezwolle for the book launch of @jonnie_en_therese. I spent the entire evening reading and browsing. WHAT A BOOK. What stories. WHAT AN ODE. Love, Nature, Pioneer, Fatherhood, Music, Jonnie's Foundation, Friendship, Suppliers, Local products, Relaxation, Entrepreneurship, Humor & The pure human being. Everything is covered, beautifully written by @joel.broekaert. With contributions from, among others, @nelsontanate, @rekkebus, @ronblaauwtje, @jorisbijdendijk, @sidney_schutte & @hvw043. Thanks for the wonderful afternoon @jonnie_en_therese 💚 PUUR JONNIE, Available from April 14 at your local bookstore (and online) 🖊️ @anne_de_buck

15 of the best tips for Los Angeles with absolute must-do activities

  1. Watch the sunset from Griffith Observatory: You can hike to this beautiful spot, or take a taxi. It's sure to be busy here in the evenings, as you can enjoy a stunning sunset view of the city from here. A must-do!
  2. Rent a bike at the beach: There are plenty of places to rent a bike at Venice Beach. Cycle from Venice to Santa Monica and enjoy the weather, the people, and the view. It's sure to be a relaxing day!
  3. Street art tour: There's plenty of street art in LA. So cool! At Venice Beach, but definitely also in Downtown Los Angeles. Take a street art tour to make sure you've seen the most beautiful walls! And don't forget your camera.
  4. Eating a burger at In-N-Out Burger: You've probably seen the yellow and red logo online. But seriously, this is where you want to eat a burger. Delicious, and utterly American. A must-try when you're in Cali.
  5. Playing arcade games at the Santa Monica Pier: Make sure you go early in the day, because the pier at Santa Monica gets crowded quickly, and trust me, you'd rather avoid that. Rent a bike at Venice and cycle to the pier for some fun arcade games. So much fun!
  6. Spot your favorite actor on the Walk of Fame: The Walk of Fame is located in West Hollywood. It's fun to see it and take a stroll. Does your favorite actor have a star too?
  7. Feast your eyes on Rodeo Drive: While not all the shops are within your price range, going here without shopping is also fun! The shops are stunning from the outside, and you're likely to see some beautiful and expensive cars driving around.
  8. Go to a TV show taping: How cool is it to watch a TV show being filmed?! There are tons of them filmed in LA, and you can usually find tickets online to sit in the audience. And it's often completely free!
  9. Get lost in The Last Bookstore: Downtown LA is home to The Last Bookstore. Even if you're not a fan of books, this store is definitely worth a visit. Plenty of books, and is there actually a book maze? Check it out!
  10. Watch the sunset at the skate park: At the skate park on Venice Beach, there's always someone showing off their coolest tricks. So impressive, I can't even emulate them! Go there at the end of the day. That way you can watch the skaters and see the sunset. Two birds with one stone.
  11. Visit one of the many museums: In LA, there are several museums, such as LACMA, The Broad, and MOCA. The Broad looks fantastic from the outside and has an infinity room inside that you definitely want to see! And you probably recognize LACMA from a famous movie…
  12. Get late-night milkshakes at Mel's Drive-In: When you're in America, you absolutely have to go to a diner. Old-school decor and the most American dishes. The milkshakes at Mel's Drive-In are also delicious! Open 24 hours a day, it's located on a side street off Hollywood Blvd.
  13. Hiking to the Hollywood Sign: Who hasn't heard of it? Walk through the Hollywood Hills, past the beautiful, grand houses, toward the sign for your perfect photo opportunity. Plenty of routes can be found online. Wear comfortable shoes and don't forget water; LA is hot!
  14. Shopping on Abbot Kinney: This street near Venice Beach is packed with the cutest shops and places to eat and drink. Craving ice cream? Then you absolutely have to go to Salt & Straw—it's so good! It's not called the coolest street in America for nothing. A must-visit when you're in LA.
  15. Explore the Venice Beach canals: Fancy a stroll around Venice Beach? Then check out the canals there. They're fun to see, house goals (!!), and also quite relaxing compared to the crowds at the beach.

Have fun in LA!
