Have you ever heard of ceviche? No? Shame on you, because this dish is soooo tasty! It’s a traditional raw fish dish that can be prepared in various ways. You can use different kinds of fish, but the fish is always marinated in lemon juice. And you’ll taste that! But of course you can endlessly vary in fish and spices. This dish is very popular in Latin America, but is also in Spain very popular. I truly love it!
Today I will share one of my favourite ceviche recipes, which happens to be very easy to make as well (always nice). Would you want to know more about this dish? I recommend this cookbook:
Super easy ceviche
For this recipe you need:
- 500 gram salmon fillet
- 1 tablespoon of salt
- 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 radishes
- 1 shredded onion
- 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley
- Sesame seeds
Cut the salmon fillet into cubes and the radishes into thin slices. Take a large bowl and mix the vinegar, olive oil, lemon juice, onion, radishes and parsley together. Put the salmon in another bowl and add the salt. After that, add the salmon to the mixture. Finally, you can add sesame seeds, but this is optional. Cover the bowl and put it in the fridge for an hour. You can serve it as a starter or side dish. Bon appetit!
