Why you’ll want to visit The New New
You’ll find The New New next to Schietclub – another great spot to spend your Friday and Saturday evenings and nights. A restaurant that, as the evening progresses, transforms into a bar dance floor and karaoke bar. And that’s not all: on some evenings, they host popular karaoke nights, like the collaboration with The New New x Doki!Doki! in April. In addition to karaoke entertainment, arcade game cabinets keep you entertained all night long.
It’s an unexpected – and temporary – addition, right next to the night bar Schietclub. Last summer, Schietclub closed its doors to make way for apartment complexes, but those were postponed shortly after. And so Schietclub reopened, but not with the well-known Klaproos by its side – the owners of this establishment had already found a new location in Amsterdam North. There was thus space for a new establishment, and the owners of Schietclub decided to take matters into their own hands. Therefore, The New New came into being.

With such a wide range of entertainment, you could almost forget that this place also serves good food and matching cocktails. The menu at The New New Amsterdam features various shared dining dishes. Smacked cucumber is among the classics, but their wide range of vegetable and rice dishes are also eagerly enjoyed. But let’s be honest: despite the delicious food, you mainly visit The New New when looking for an exuberant evening.
