The Massagehuys Amsterdam: for your “me time”

At The Massage House in Amsterdam west they know what a good massage is. And this salon also looks great. The Massagehuys is next door Things I Like, Things I Love on Jan Evertsenstraat. At this new beauty hotspot, you can choose your massage a la carte. Depending on your mood and what you're looking for, you can choose from a variety of oriental massages.

With a choice of six different massages, from "stress relief" to "everyday energy," there's something for everyone. At Het Massagehuys, you can choose to enhance your massage with a pot of herbal tea and special homemade organic oil. The 60-minute massage itself costs €48,50.

Because I just got back from a trip from Thailand I'm going for the "Authentic Asian" massage. WOW. That's good! It crackled all over, and the next day I really felt everything loosening up. I think I should get massages more often :-). After the massage, I'll have a pot of ginger tea at Het Massagehuys. A few hours for myself, no iPhone, and pure pampering!
