The High Line New York: coolest park in town you should check out

4 January 2013

A walk in the park: the High Line in New York!

I love green in the city! New York has several great parks like Central Park or Washington Square Park, but my all time favourite park is the newer High Line in New York. Last year I travelled to New York twice and had the luck to stroll down the High Line in the spring and the fall. And both of the times the High Line in New York was just as lively. Tourists (like me!) together with New Yorkers enjoying a nice walk in the sun. Enter the High Line at West 30th Street and walk all the way down to Gansevoort Street in the trendy Meatpacking District. But if you’re not up for a longer walk there are plenty of access point to the High Line!

PS: after a walk at the High Line park in New York, the Standard Grill (exit at Gansevoort Street) is a lovely restaurant for lunch. Or go to the trendy Chelsea Market where you find several fine deli’s!
