At The Good Companion Amsterdam on Westerstraat, we can sit down for authentic fish and chips. Entrepreneurs Niek and Enno are bringing British comfort food to Amsterdam, and we're perfectly happy with that. Finding good fish and chips in Amsterdam is still quite difficult.

Niek and Enno decided to launch a crowdfunding campaign to raise the necessary funds. Fortunately, everything is almost done; within ten days, they've already raised over 85% of their target amount. Good job!

Not a fan of fish and chips? Or perhaps you're vegetarian? No worries, The Good Companion Amsterdam has a solution for that too. On the menu, you'll find Tofush & Chips made with tofu—I want to try that! You can also order the Catch of the Day, which changes daily because it's made with bycatch fish. Bycatch fish is normally thrown back into the sea where the fish don't survive, but The Good Companion Amsterdam uses this "catch." Pretty cool, huh?
