Foodie paradise at De Foodhallen in Amsterdam
YES, the Foodhallen in the old tram depot in Amsterdam West are open. And it's so great! Of course, I went to the various stalls last weekend to sample everything. Yummy! The official opening of De Foodhallen in Amsterdam is October 21st, and the last stalls are still being finished, but they're up and running.
I have been really looking forward to the opening of this indoor food market in Amsterdam westOur own Chelsea Market Meet Borough Market, but with Amsterdam's best entrepreneurs. In the Foodhallen, you'll find familiar concepts, but also plenty of newcomers. A TASTY ;-) mix!
No more reason to cook at home ;-). From now on you can eat and drink at The Foodhallen in Amsterdam West. Open weekdays from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on weekends until 9:00 PM. And when it's busy, the bar stays open even later. Tip: The Foodhallen is also perfect for a quick bite before heading to the Filmhallen.
In De Foodhallen you will find Friska (a super healthy new concept), Viêt View, Caulils Cheese (for the tastiest raclette), Pink Flamingo Pizza and much more!
And if, after a visit to De Foodhallen, you still want to eat something in a restaurant... Meat West, Stop 3 and Remise 47 are around the corner in the De Hallen complex.
