Years ago, Simon Parrott had a mission: to create the best burger in the Netherlands. This led to years of experiments and test rounds until he found his secret recipe. Never change a winning team, because for years now, The Beef Chief has been renowned for its excellent burgers.

Unlike the popular smashburgers of the moment, the patties on The Beef Chief menu are anything but flattened. They are thick, fresh, and everything you hope for when you order a classic hamburger. The classic that brought this place its fame is the Kimchief – a burger with cheddar, kimchi, and spicy mayonnaise. During the day, besides burgers, other sandwiches are available (until 3 PM). The place is cozy enough to hang out in; it feels like a trendy clubhouse.
The burgers are made from local cattle. The MRIJ cattle come from the Maas-Rijn-IJssel region. These cattle are renowned for their juicy meat with a pronounced flavor. You can taste it in the burgers, but the secret recipe also includes bone marrow – and that might just be the key to their success.
