Tip for September 8 till 10: visit this beer festival in Amsterdam with friends

6 September 2017

End the summer with the Amsterdam Beerfair

Beer, beer beer! The best and perhaps most tasty festival is here; The Amsterdam Beerfair (TAB). Thé beer festival of the year! From September 8 till 10, the marina area in the heart of Amsterdam will transform into a true beer walhalla. An international beer festival where the main focus lies on discovering, think of discovering well-known and unknown brewers from The Netherlands and abroad. Our own local beer heroes as Oedipus, Poesiat and Kater and Brouwerij ‘t IJ are of course present on the festival and to make it even more special, these breweries brewed a special beer for TAB. For example; at Oedipus Brewing, you can taste the Dubbel, at Beer Brewer a Black Rye IPA, at Walhalla Craft Beer a Berliner Weisse, at Poesiat & Kater Session IPA and at Brouwerij ‘t IJ a New England IPA.

Besides tasting beers from the famous Amsterdam brewers, there are also international brewers at The Amsterdam Beerfair: White Pony Micro Brewery from Italy, Lagunitas Brewing Co from America and To Beer from Denmark. Can’t wait to taste!

A good beer needs good food. So the chef of Pension Homeland made a special menu that fits the perfect beer/food combination. The whole weekend beer will be live brewed and of course there’s also music to complete the festival.
