terrace festival in amsterdam

- Amsterdam -

TIP: September 1 till 3 you want to go to the first terrace festival in Amsterdam

30 August 2017

terraces are coming together at this terrace festival in Amsterdam

Food festivals, beer festivals, pizza festivals, Asian festivals and of course music festivals. The only festival that’s still missing in Amsterdam is a festival with terraces! That’s what Mannen van de Wereld, known for their famous liberation party Het Amsterdamse Verbond, also thought. So this year we celebrate the end of summer (no worries, in september) on the terrace. And not on one, on more. Jep, there’s a big terrace festival in Amsterdam coming to town.

From September 1 till 3 the best restaurants (with a terrace) are coming together on the new terrace festival in Amsterdam, in the Oosterpark. On the festival you can find about 20 of your favourite terraces to have a drink and a bite. Think of Meneer Nieges, Roest and BAUT Paradijs, but also Atelier Restaurant & Bar and Café Panache. The terraces are from different neighbourhoods of Amsterdam and they can decide themselves what they serve. So get gin-tonics at one terrace and a meal at another one. Besides eating and drinking, there’s more to do. You can visit the Vondel Silent Disco, take a look at Café Nol, dance on music from the DJ’s of Bar Broker or test your voice with some karaoke.
