Tea Stories Amsterdam: a paradise for (vegan) bubble tea lovers on the Haarlemmerdijk

Atmosphere and interior at Tea Stories Amsterdam

You might already be familiar with the Tea Stories concept, as this place already had a location in Eindhoven. It was a success, so Amsterdam had to follow suit. The bubble tea craze is also widespread in the capital. At Tea Stories Amsterdam, they do things a little differently. Instead of sweet milk balls in your drink, you'll find vegan versions.

The interior is light, minimalist and inviting, just like that of their first store.

Menu and dishes at Tea Stories

Everything on the Tea Stories Amsterdam menu is vegan. The bubble tea balls are made with plant-based milk (and cassava flour), making the drinks completely vegan. The bubble teas come in several varieties. For the base, you can choose from Japanese chai, taro, and roasted oolong. With toppings like tapioca pearls, you can make your drink special: why not try liquid mochi, nata de coco, or soy pudding?

But there's more than just bubble teas. They offer a wide variety of matchas, from mango varieties to a limited edition saffron matcha. There's also plenty of coffee to choose from, including a pistachio latte.

Besides a wide variety of teas and coffees, Tea Stories also serves lunch. The miso-eggplant toast is unique, as are the vegan bao burger and the kimchi kohlrabi toast. The sweet treats are also worth trying, like the pandan waffle.

Tea Stories is perfect for drinks to go
