The nicest culinary festival of the year is just around the corner. Save the date for June 2 -5, because on those days, Taste of Amsterdam is back in the Amstelpark with their 9th edition. 4 days longs you can enjoy the most delicious dishes made by Chefs from Amsterdam. Names like Jonnie Boer but also young talents will be there. Taste of Amsterdam is the restaurant festival of the Netherlands where you get the chance to visit a lot of hotspots of Amsterdam and try signature dishes from restaurants. Everything will be prepared as a small tasting dish, so you can try as many different things as you like during your visit to Taste of Amsterdam.

Taste of Amsterdam 2017

a preview of the restaurants

Want to know which restaurants you’ll come across at Taste of Amsterdam this year? You can go and try dishes at some of these favourites: Happy Happy Joy Joy, BAUT, Pesca, The French Connection, THE BUTCHER, Roast, The Harbour Club, Visaandeschelde, Butcher’s Heaven, Kruidfabriek, ‘t Amsterdammertje and newbie Persijn.

Do you love a glass of bubbles just like I do? Great news because Veuve Clicquot will be at Taste too this year. Visit exclusive locations with the Verve Clicquot like: Occo – The Dylan, Bridges – The Grand and the Okra Hotel led by Onno Kokmeijer, Andrès Delpeut and Dennis Kuipers.

For the real foodies among us that want to nurture their culinary knowledge, there are multiple workshops in the AEG Tasteology. Jonnie Broer and Jan Smink from the Librije*** will show you that you can cook star worthy dishes at home as well, as long as you use the right equipment and ingredients. Are you the lucky owner of a Green EGG? Then you can follow a workshop at Taste to learn how to use your Green EGG to cook even better. Or visit Ketel One to learn how to make the best Bloody Marys.

TIP: Keep and eye on Your Little Black Book because we will be sharing more of our favourites soon!
