Taco’s, taco’s, taco’s. YES, and you’ll eat them at Taqueria Tacobar!
Fi-nal-ly, Taqueria Tacobar has opened its doors! And that means I can breathe again ;-) For over a year now I’m wondering when the first real taqueria will open their doors in Amsterdam West. Because it doesn’t matter where I travel, there’s always a taqueria somewhere. From Tel Aviv to New York! And now that taco’s are the new burgers we will be welcoming Taqueria Tacobar as our very own taco hotspot. Yay!
The Taqueria Tacobar is located on a beautiful cosy corner in the Tweede Helmersstraat. No busy traffic passing by, just you, your tacos and your Corona ;-) Outside a small terrace, decorated with lovely pillows. But inside, inside is a whole other world. Here you feel like entering a Latin-American pub, yay! The walls are painted in bright colors and the setting is just very cosy.
But back to the tacos now. Because although there menu is limitado, there’s something for everyone. Tacos with chicken, fish, pork, beef or just vegan style. And, very affordable! LIKE. So to make it easy, just choose one of each type like I did ;-) Also try the avocado fries. Have you ever heard of those before? Well, I didn’t! And I can already say, they’re not fries in the way you expect. Just order them and be surprised. They sure are delicious!
