Taproom Amsterdam: new beer cafe at the Vijzelstraat

4 November 2015

Cas Jansen opened a secont spot in Amsterdam: Taproom!

Not that long ago, Cas Jansen opened Venster 33. And now we can tell you he opened a second location: Taproom! A beer bar with over 20 beers on tap (24 to be exact), including varying local beers. But they also serve a few good bar bites. Sandwiches with buratta, roasted peppers and basil. Grilled octopus with tomato sauce, capers, lemon and parsley. Meatballs with pecorino, marjoram and san marzo tomato sauce. And give me some of the cheese croquettes with a nice cold beer and I’m a happy girl.

Taproom is located at the Vijzelstraat, where De Gelachkamer used to be. Better known, so it seems, as the local pub of Ramses Shaffy. We just are very curious what Cas has made of it and go quickly there to check it out!
