Tapas Husid, the best Icelandic tapas restaurant in Reykjavik
Reykjavik is full of nice restaurants! Tapas Husid is a fun restaurant in Reykjavik where they serve Icelandic tapas. It opened in 2011 and is located close to the old harbour. The New York chef created a great menu combining Spanish influences with the Icelandic cuisine. You can choose the more traditional tapas or try a Icelandic tapas tasting menu. If you’re up for trying something new, this is a great way to get to know the Icelandic food a bit better. I think you never ate a tapas of dried shark before? This is a typical Icelandic delicatessen and they serve it at this Spanish style restaurant in Reykjavik. So if you like trying new things ;-).
Another asset of this restaurant in Reykjavik is the cocktail menu! Delicious margarita’s. Since it was a bit rainy on my visit to Iceland this colourful restaurant in Reykjavik made me really happy. In the summertime they have a outdoor terrace here as well. Great view overlooking the harbour and the mountains.
