Come with me to get breakfast in Taipei 🥢 Straight from the airport to this little spot to taste soup dumplings and so much more! That's what I call a soft landing 😉
Just back from Catalonia and I thought: I'll share some tips right away. During our road trip, we stayed two nights in the Ebro Delta. An incredibly fun stop for families and foodies alike, where there is plenty to do. · A boat trip to the Musclarium is a must! Here you eat oysters and mussels straight from the farm, in the middle of the sea. · Admire the flamingos and black ibises that can be found here all year round. · Rice is grown in the Ebro Delta all year round. For paella, but Kensho also makes sake and miso from it! You can visit them during a tasting. · Cycling along the rice fields, canoeing on the Ebro River, and visiting various beaches. It was still a bit too cold now, but there is plenty to do. · The towns are very low-key and not that exciting, but you can find fantastic local food there. From the Michelin-awarded Les Moles* to local eateries like Vermuteria Bonmarisc and Lo Tinglado. We ate a lot of fish, but also anemone fritters (a first!). Now back to work, and I’m going to create an extensive travel guide of this road trip through Catalonia, but you’ll want to save these tips for a future adventure. ✖️✖️✖️ 🖊️ @anne_de_buck { In this post, I share tips for the Ebro Delta in Spain (Delta de l'Ebre). PUUR JONNIE, an ode to Jonnie Boer. Today I had the honor of being at @delibrijezwolle for the book launch of @jonnie_en_therese. I spent the entire evening reading and browsing. WHAT A BOOK. What stories. WHAT AN ODE. Love, Nature, Pioneer, Fatherhood, Music, Jonnie's Foundation, Friendship, Suppliers, Local products, Relaxation, Entrepreneurship, Humor & The pure human being. Everything is covered, beautifully written by @joel.broekaert. With contributions from, among others, @nelsontanate, @rekkebus, @ronblaauwtje, @jorisbijdendijk, @sidney_schutte & @hvw043. Thanks for the wonderful afternoon @jonnie_en_therese 💚 PUUR JONNIE, Available from April 14 at your local bookstore (and online) 🖊️ @anne_de_buck
This is your ticket to Japan without taking a plane 🥢 @tewatashi.ams in De Pijp serves an authentic Edo-Mae Sushi Experience and is super consistent in their quality. It's the place we keep going back to when we have something to celebrate <3. In this video I'm sharing the 2 hour experience in 60 seconds. Still dreaming about the buttery ika nigiri. 🤤 ✖️✖️✖️ 🖊️ @anne_de_buck { one of the best authentic Japanese restaurants in Amsterdam serving premium sushi omakase in De Pijp }
𝗔 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝗳𝗲́ 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗺𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗮𝗺 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆? @eetcafe_de_reiger is the spot to remember. Cozy, casual, and a seasonal menu. This one was on my list to share for a year and finally it's (almost) asparagus season again! 🤤 Another plus? Prices are very reasonable here! 📍 Eetcafé de Reiger Jordaan, Amsterdam City Center Save this spot for when you're craving warm Dutch traditional dishes in the heart of Amsterdam. And did you hear the same team took over Eetcafé van Beeren? I can't wait to go there too! ✖️✖️✖️ 🖊️ @anne_de_buck
A grandma's cookbook. Three Michelin stars. And a beautiful 70s villa in a quiet neighborhood in Bangkok, where you are welcomed as if you were at the chefs' home. The Sühring brothers don't cook based on trends; they cook based on memories. Of their grandmother's farm, of the flavors of their youth in Germany, and of techniques passed down through generations. @relaischateaux invited me to experience Sühring during a solo lunch, and this is truly my ultimate definition of culinary self-care. This was a surprising afternoon in Bangkok, where I ate the best German food I have ever tasted. And that in a city where I normally avoid European restaurants. Well, for @restaurant_suhring, you really want to make that exception. Signature dishes that I still think back to regularly? 🍴 Labskaus with caviar 🍴 Enleta waffle with Pfalz vinegar 🍴 Game pâté 🍴 Dry-aged Duck TIP: When you go to Sühring, reserve seats at the kitchen bar so you have a view of the chefs at work! Follow @yourlbb for more tips you can trust. ✖️✖️✖️ 🖊️ @anne_de_buck #prinvited #bangkok #michelin #relaischateaux In this reels, I take you along for fine dining in Bangkok at the three-Michelin-starred restaurant Sühring.

MASMAIS

MasMais Taqueria is located in Amsterdam-West. For their latest venture, the owners visited Mexico several times, where they were blown away by the incredible seafood, excellent cocktails, and pleasant atmosphere. They agreed wholeheartedly: such a concept was missing in Amsterdam. Since then, MasMais Taqueria has focused on fish, and their Taqueria on tacos like you'd only find in Mexico.

FIONA

Right in the city center, on Warmoesstraat, you'll find Fiona: a Mexican restaurant where tacos take center stage. Inspired by chef Zahie Téllez, you'll find tacos with bold flavors, with both vegetarian and meat options on the menu. Taco Tuesday is a great reason to stop by. On Tuesdays, you get two tacos and a cocktail for €24, including a margarita.

OAXACA

At Oaxaca, you'll taste tacos just like you would in Mexico. No Americanized versions, but dishes that stay true to their origins. One of the menu's must-try dishes is the Ensenada-style soft-shell crab taco: crispy, light, and full of flavor, just like you'd find on the Baja California coast. Oaxaca demonstrates how versatile Mexican tacos can be, adding a strong, authentic touch to Amsterdam's taco scene.

TACO LINDO

We understand the foodies: it is indeed worth waiting in line for a taco like the one from Taco Lindo on the Albert Cuyp. Good news for those who prefer a seat, because Taco Lindo recently opened a second location in Amsterdam-West.

Tacos La Sinaloense

At Tacos La Sinaloense, the tacos are made with handmade tortillas and rich, slow-cooked Mexican stews. The best part: you create your own taco. From fresh toppings to extra salsa and a generous amount of spice if you like. You'll find this spot on both the Ten Katemarkt like the Albert Cuyp Market.

Taco Teca

Anyone walking through the Ten Katemarkt can often smell it from a distance. Taco Teca is one of those stalls you'll want to stop by: for the tacos and the atmosphere. Expect freshly prepared tacos with generous toppings, tons of flavor, and just the right balance between street food and comfort food. Add to that the cheerful, super-friendly team and a good dose of music, and you'll understand why this is one of the market's most vibrant spots. Perfect for a quick lunch that feels like a mini fiesta.

COBA TAQUERIA

My personal favorite is Coba Taqueria in Amsterdam Noord, where tacos are taken to the next level. Feel instantly transported to Mexico (cacti, small stools, and colorful rugs included) and savor the art of taco making. Do yourself a favor and order as many different tacos and cocktails as possible. Ouch, caramba!

Louie Louie

Louie Louie isn't your typical taco spot, but one of its best-kept secrets is that it serves some seriously delicious tacos. This relaxed hangout boasts a modern interior with subtle South American influences and a menu packed with street food. For taco lovers, the Carnitas soft tacos are a must: two soft tortillas filled with pulled pork, chipotle, onion, salsa roja, and fresh cucumber. Comfort food that perfectly complements the laid-back atmosphere of this place.

CATUABAR

Catuabar is truly a hidden gem in EastThis laid-back cocktail bar is overflowing with good vibes. Think Brazilian bossa nova in the background, a menu full of surprising, creative dishes that pair perfectly with cocktails. The menu is small but well-thought-out, with influences from all over the world, from Latin America to South Africa, and changes regularly. Catuabar is open late, so it can get quite busy even late on a Saturday evening. And in the summer? Then you can sit outside on the intimate terrace by the facade.

CAMINO

Camino Taqueria Amsterdam distinguishes itself from other taco restaurants with its focus on LA tacos. You get the idea, they have a certain twist. The team behind Camino has been doing this for years, by the way; they previously served these dishes under the banners Best Coast Taqueria and Flora Amsterdam. After a few pop-ups, it's now time for a permanent spot in West.

lupe

With the arrival of Lupe at the end of last year, Bos en Lommer has a new Mexican restaurant. At this unique South American hotspot in Amsterdam-West, you can enjoy authentic Mexican dishes during the week. And on weekends, as the icing on the cake, they serve an extensive brunch.

BACALAR

Named after the world-famous azure lake in the Yucatán, Bacalar is another great spot for tacos and other Mexican classics. The owner previously worked at Coba in Noord, so you can count on being in the right place!

Eighth Street

At Calle Ocho on the Albert Cuyp Market, the menu changes weekly, but one thing's for sure: delicious tacos are always on the menu. With ground meat, fish, or other variations. And at Calle Ocho, you simply have to have a cocktail with your tacos. Open weekdays until 03:00 AM, ¡Qué bueno!

the pylons

While Los Pilones used to have several locations throughout the city, this taquería now has just one address: Kerkstraat. Here, it's still all about Mexican classics, well-filled tacos, and of course, margaritas you won't want to miss. The atmosphere is lively and informal, just as you've come to expect from Los Pilones. Perfect for an evening of tacos and tequila, dinner with friends, and a good dose of camaraderie.

tomatillo

Another takeout gem you shouldn't miss. Tomatillo delivers the best tacos in town, right to your door. Besides tacos, they also have a wide selection of quesadillas, burritos, tostadas, and fajitas. And yes, they all taste equally good!
Majubastraat 4 & Overtoom 261, Amsterdam – tomatillo.nl

MOTHER

At Madre on Westerstraat, it's all about plant-based Mexican dishes with tons of flavor, and that's reflected in the tacos. The menu includes birria quesatacos with slow-cooked pork in a smoky broth for dipping, as well as other surprising vegetarian options like tempura mushroom tacos with crispy oyster mushrooms and a refreshing salsa negra. Prefer something green? Then go for the artichoke barbacoa tacos or the papa al pastor tostadas with pineapple.
