Why you want to visit Taco Lindo Amsterdam

The flavours of Taco Lindo Amsterdam are simply unmatched; ask the people in their famous TikTok queue. Owner Alejandro Galindo found the taco stalls in Mexico (where they can be found on every street corner) a good idea and decided to bring the concept to the Netherlands. It also proved to be a golden move, as almost nowhere is as busy as Taco Lindo at the Albert Cuyp market. Since the tacos went viral on TikTok, people from London and Germany have been coming to Amsterdam to taste the tacos – queue or no queue. The success is overwhelming, but it also offers opportunities, such as opening a second location in Amsterdam West.

Those visiting the location on Haarlemmerweg (near Westerpark) will feel like they are in Mexico. The interior is simple, and there are few seats. You eat your tacos standing, except for a couple of bar stools. It is not a place for endless dining but a location for a quick bite. However, that does not detract from the enjoyment.

The beef tacos are true classics from Northern and Central Mexico, just like the steak. Despite the owner’s growing up in Texas, United States, he avoids the American Tex-Mex variants. For vegetarians, there is the Vegan Pastor—a vegan taco with particularly well-seasoned vegetables. Meat-eaters will also enjoy this variant.
