Light green tiles, pink to-go cups, lots of windows, sleek tiles, and a cast floor: the decor of Taal Coffee & More is the relatively new stylish coffee shop at the J.J. Cremerplein in Amsterdam-West, which is perfect down to the last detail. They also serve good coffee and other original drinks, which is just a bonus.

Why you want to visit Taal Coffee Amsterdam

Language Coffee: the name might make you think that that was precisely the intention of the founders of this new coffee shop in Amsterdam-West. At the J.J. Cremerplein, Taal proudly displays its logo on the facade, and they are happy to explain it. Language represents the taste we experience and the way we communicate. According to the founders, this is about the bond that people create among themselves through the ‘language of taste’ part. On the other hand, ‘language’ represents the unique way an individual experiences flavors. Language is a mixture of different meanings, with the highest goal of bringing people together. An authentic neighborhood café, we can conclude.

Menu Taal

Walk into Taal, and it feels like a – very stylish! – second living room. Despite the fairly sleek interior, the atmosphere is friendly, and you immediately feel welcome. In addition to good coffee in all shapes and sizes, the menu features several original drinks, such as their blueberry-lavender mix and a lime latte< /em>. Real coffee connoisseurs who prefer to drink black coffee will get their money’s worth at Taal. Every day, they replace the beans of the filter coffee so that residents can also test new coffee every day and thus develop their coffee-tasting skills. In short, Taal offers something for every coffee lover, from experimental lovers to those who prefer to stick to always-good classics.
