Sushi Noord Amsterdam hosts pop-up at Badhuis
Badhuis Amsterdam is offering their private dining room for a short time for a special omakase menu prepared by the chef of Sushi Noord. The story of the Pakistani founder Muhammad is remarkable. He started his career washing dishes at the Krasnapolsky Hotel on the Dam and worked his way up to the chef. His interest in sushi making was always present, so he taught himself the fine art from his home in Noord. Riad, one of the owners of Badhuis, often picked up sushi from Muhammad and was impressed by his story and skills. He decided to give the chef a chance – and thus, the idea for an omakase pop-up at Badhuis was born.

From now on, you can enjoy a 12-course omakase menu at Badhuis every Tuesday and Wednesday. Omakase means ‘I leave it up to you’ – and that is precisely what you do on an evening like this. The chef decides the menu, and you surrender and enjoy. Anne has already had a preview of this special evening and can’t wait to visit again. Sushi of this quality from Sushi Noord is rare, and how skilful Muhammad works is extraordinary. The menu includes nigiri with toro or avocado with caviar, various hand rolls, and several other classics that you can order from Sushi Noord throughout the week.
Note: Reservations are a must, as Sushi Noord only uses fresh ingredients. A 12-course menu costs €60 per person. Vegetarian options are not available.
