Come with me to get breakfast in Taipei 🥢 Straight from the airport to this little spot to taste soup dumplings and so much more! That's what I call a soft landing 😉
Just back from Catalonia and I thought: I'll share some tips right away. During our road trip, we stayed two nights in the Ebro Delta. An incredibly fun stop for families and foodies alike, where there is plenty to do. · A boat trip to the Musclarium is a must! Here you eat oysters and mussels straight from the farm, in the middle of the sea. · Admire the flamingos and black ibises that can be found here all year round. · Rice is grown in the Ebro Delta all year round. For paella, but Kensho also makes sake and miso from it! You can visit them during a tasting. · Cycling along the rice fields, canoeing on the Ebro River, and visiting various beaches. It was still a bit too cold now, but there is plenty to do. · The towns are very low-key and not that exciting, but you can find fantastic local food there. From the Michelin-awarded Les Moles* to local eateries like Vermuteria Bonmarisc and Lo Tinglado. We ate a lot of fish, but also anemone fritters (a first!). Now back to work, and I’m going to create an extensive travel guide of this road trip through Catalonia, but you’ll want to save these tips for a future adventure. ✖️✖️✖️ 🖊️ @anne_de_buck { In this post, I share tips for the Ebro Delta in Spain (Delta de l'Ebre). 11 of the Best Cities to Celebrate Pride

Amsterdam: As an Amsterdammer, I've naturally been fortunate enough to experience the Pride festival in my wonderful city several times. Every year, it's a joy to walk through the city during the parade and watch all the decorated boats sail through the canals. Did you also know that the Netherlands was the first country to legalize same-sex marriage and that Amsterdam is one of the most progressive cities in the country? In 1987, for example, Amsterdam unveiled a monument commemorating the LGBTQ+ people who were persecuted during World War II and those who still cannot be who they want to be today. pride.amsterdam

Berlin: Germany's capital has long been known as Europe's queer city and is the ultimate clubbing destination. This metropolis combines a love of techno and rave with Pride. For example, the city hosts an annual Pride march, Berlin CSD, which attracts nearly a million visitors. The Berlin Pride parade feels like a street festival and offers a wide range of DJs, ravers, and artists.

Taipei: This large island became the first in Asia to legalize same-sex marriage in 2019. One of Asia's biggest Pride events, the annual Pride Parade, is celebrated on the last Saturday of October. You can also attend various parties throughout the weekend in the capital's best gay bars and LGBTQ-friendly hotels.

Madrid: Did you know that after the Netherlands, Spain is the third country in the world to legalize same-sex marriage? Madrid's Pride festival is the largest Pride celebration in Europe, attracting nearly two million visitors to the city each year.

São Paulo: Perhaps the most famous and grandest Pride parade is celebrated in São Paulo. The event takes place on the Sunday after Corpus Christi, where participants parade down Avenida Paulista with flags, floats, costumes, and music. In the week leading up to the Pride parade, there's already plenty of partying going on in neighborhoods like Frei Caneca, Jardin, and Largo do Arouche.

New York: The Big Apple, home to the Stonewall Inn, a gay bar and National Historic Landmark, and a landmark in LGBTQ history. New York City has long been known for its massive Pride marches and is a favorite destination for many LGBTQ travelers. In 2019, Manhattan became the first city in the United States to host the Pride March. worldpride.

Sydney: In Sydney, Pride isn't just a day or a week; instead, you can enjoy a month of LGBTQ+ events throughout the city. These include performances by RuPaul's Drag Race stars, drag bingo, Alaska, and A Night of Cher. Besides the Pride festival in Sydney, the city also hosts the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras every February. This tradition began in 1978 when homosexuality was still illegal; today, Mardi Gras is one of Australia's most popular events.

San Francisco: This city in the western United States hosts the country's oldest and one of its largest Pride marches annually. What makes San Francisco Pride unique is that it has been run by volunteers since 1970, and nearly 1 million people come to the city to attend the 200th parade.

Los Angeles: In LA, you can enjoy Pride for a month. The annual event is a major celebration, including a Pride festival, a parade, and various city events. For the 50th anniversary, which was originally supposed to be celebrated in 2020, there's a big party this year. This includes the outdoor concert featuring none other than Christina Aguilera is the headliner.
