Staring at Jacob x KU West Amsterdam: for chicken ‘n waffles & sushi in West

26 July 2017

Staring at Jacob x KU West Amsterdam got together!

Your favourite sushi walhalla Ku Kitchen Bar Amsterdam from the Utrechtsestraat opened a second location at the other side of the city in Amsterdam West on the Jacob of Lennepkade. Yes, that means less biking for me ;-) You can find Ku Kitchen Bar Amsterdam or KU West in Staring at Jacob. No worries, you can still drop by for a delicious lunch at this brunch spot. From now on it’s just called; Staring at Jacob x KU West Amsterdam.

Owner Robbie Castelijn took over Staring at Jacob, but combines the golden brunch concept with his sushi galore. During the day you can order your favorite chicken with waffles, eggs and pancakes and in the evening you can go to KU West for the best Japanese bites. Sushi, sashimi, handrolls, they are ready to be ordered at this ‘new’ spot. Nice: Staring at Jacob and Ku Kitchen Bar Amsterdam West do cross their pads sometimes. During the day you can for example order a Japanese pancake and salads with a Japanese touch.

The interior of Staring at Jacob x KU West Amsterdam has also got a nice touch up. There are petrol blue velvet couches (oh my …), the floor is covered with green tiles and there’s Japanese art on the wall. This may be my favorite go to place in the weekend.

I know what I’m going to eat tonight, SUSHI!
