Internship vacancy: Social Media Intern wanted at Your Little Black Book

Are you creative with social media, always up-to-date on the latest trends, and do you have a keen eye for image and aesthetics? Then this internship is perfect for you!

About the internship
At Your Little Black Book, as a social media intern, you'll have the opportunity to actively work alongside founder Anne de Buck in the editorial department of one of the largest travel & lifestyle platforms in the Netherlands. You'll learn how to create compelling content, plan seasonal campaigns, and devise and roll out new formats across multiple channels. From strategy to execution, you'll get a behind-the-scenes look at everything.

What are you going to do?

• Collaborate on creating social media content for Instagram, Substack, TikTok & LinkedIn;
• Planning and executing seasonal social media content calendars;
• Writing and editing social media content in Dutch and English (with support from AI tools);
• Help set up and maintain the new newsletter via Substack;
• Contribute to the development and implementation of new social media series;
• Working with tools like Canva, CapCut, Lightroom and AI for visual and textual content;
• Taking photos and videos yourself with your smartphone for use on social media (advantage);
• Creating social media content from existing video and photo material;
• Monitor performance and learn how to analyze and apply social media data.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a creative and structured intern who:

• Are you pursuing a degree in communication, media, content, marketing or social media management?
• Has an affinity with lifestyle, travel, food & drinks;
• A good sense of image, aesthetics and tone of voice per platform (advantage);
• Is familiar with tools such as Canva, CapCut, Lightroom and AI tools (or wants to learn these quickly);
• Has a good command of both Dutch and English, and can write flexibly per channel;
• Works independently, is proactive and is a social media fanatic;
• Preferably lives in Amsterdam or the surrounding area;
• Has a good smartphone for taking pictures and videos (advantage).

• Working from various flexible workspaces, such as SOHO House, in Amsterdam (and partly remote);

• An internship allowance of €450 per month for a 4-day per week commitment.

Practical information

• Starting date: in consultation;
• Duration: minimum 4 months (longer is always allowed);
• Availability: minimum 4 days a week (5 days is a plus);
• You have your own laptop and smartphone with a good camera.
