Restaurant Gent aan de Schinkel has a younger brother! ‘Cafe van Mechelen Amsterdam’ opened its doors at the Sloterkade a few weeks ago. Located in a beautiful industrial building with several area’s that make it a perfect all day hotspot. The bar is huge and perfect for drinks with friends. ‘Cafe van Mechelen Amsterdam’ has a very nice bar menu with delicious bites to go with your drink. On the menu of ‘Cafe van Mechelen Amsterdam’ you find classic dishes prepared with local produce as much as possible. The menu is seasonal and has several day specials to choose from the chalk board. This new gem is located close to the Hoofddorpplein on the border of Amsterdam old South and Sloten. Perfect for breakfast, because ‘Cafe van Mechelen Amsterdam‘ is open 7 days a week from 9.00 o’clock till late. A fun mix of vintage gives ‘Cafe van Mechelen Amsterdam’ a very laid back atmosphere.
