Stacks Deli Amsterdam is the latest addition from the owners of Stacks Diner in Amsterdam-West. Here’s everything we know so far – from the concept to the opening this summer.

Everything you need to know about Stacks Deli Amsterdam

Stacks Diner has long been at the top of our list of favourite restaurants. It’s a cosy spot with homestyle cooking in Amsterdam West, but you feel like you’re in the United States. Within a few months – after a fantastic review in De Volkskrant – Stacks quickly became a beloved restaurant among both locals and tourists. That’s no big surprise because, at Stacks Diner, you feel right at home. Despite most of the staff being of American origin, they know how to charm the Dutch audience.

The new Stacks Deli Amsterdam will continue the cosy atmosphere of the first establishment. But what exactly will it entail? That’s still unknown. For now, we’re fantasizing about a few things, including a place like Saint-Jean Deli – the sibling of the equally popular coffee shop. A place where sandwiches are sold, but also ingredients to recreate their creations at home, preferably as close as possible, and where there’s always room to spontaneously join.

You’ll have to wait a little longer for the new Stacks Deli Amsterdam —the new establishment will open its doors in the summer of 2024. Until then, we’ll continue to dream about the delicious creations and dishes of Stacks Diner. Let’s hope their new deli is just as good. But to be honest, there’s no doubt about it.
