Who travels a lot must be proud when seeing this Amsterdam brand in the coolest shopping streets world wide. I think it’s special to see how popular Scotch & Soda is around the globe. A few months ago I was walking down Abbot Kinney Boulevard in LA and even there I spotted a brand strore! In Amsterdam I recently went to the Gerard Doustraat to check out the new Amsterdams Blauw collection. Statement pieces with a great eye for details and funny twists, but also some classics everyone needs in their closet. From Amsterdams Blauw my favourite jeans is the La Bohemienne. A mid rise jeans with fabric so soft it feels like you’re wearing a legging. For me black skinny jeans always works with a classic Breton stripe. And this time not a black and white stripe but black and red like the colour of my lipstick. The details that Amsterdams Blauw is known for make this shirt extra fun; the sleeves are completely covered with little buttons. Another of my favourites from the new collection of Amsterdams Blauw is this oversized denim shirt with the words ROOSTERS in patches on the back. In the fall nice with stockings and now with bare legs on a hot summer day of when I’m going to Lowlands next week.
