This is another great tip that makes me think... thank me later! Always wanted to stay in a beach house? In Katwijk aan Zee, there are forty beach houses right on the beach, perfect for a weekend getaway where you wake up with a sea view. Perfect for getting away for a while as a couple and maybe even learning to surf. Or, like us, just unwinding with the little one with your feet in the sand. Imagine having the entire beach to yourself in the morning!
The beach bungalows are located next to the Willy Zuid beach pavilion, so you don't have to walk far for delicious food and drinks. You can also prepare something delicious yourself, as all bungalows are equipped with a fully equipped kitchen. There are two different types of beach bungalows available for rent: deluxe bungalows (larger interior space) and comfort bungalows (with a cozy veranda).
Now that it looks like staycations in the Netherlands will be a must this year, I've already booked this lovely getaway for the end of April. Fingers crossed for beautiful spring weather! Will you keep your fingers crossed?
