Scent of Bali, Amsterdam: Authentic Balinese massage in the Pijp

At Scent of Bali in the Pijp it’s finally me-time…

A typical moment of which you wish it would never end. But time flies when you’re having fun. While I inhale the relaxing aromas, I lie here, almost butt naked, excited for what’s coming.
My Balinese masseuse feels exactly where I need some damage control. It’s like as if she’s squeezing a hundred knots out of my back. Why don’t I do this more often? Funny how something painful can feel so good at the same time.
I get the full package, from a foot reflexology massage to a firm treatment for my hands and knuckles. And did I ever get a head massage this long? I’ve got goosebumps all over… Love being in this state of relaxation.

In the heart of the Pijp you’ll find this piece of mini-Bali. The masseuses? Straight from Bali where they’ve learned their profession. The massage oils? The owner selected all the ingredients herself in Bali. The teak wooden furniture and beds? Right. A lot of soul and energy was put into this place. Calm and peace is what’s coming from this place. So it’s not a surprise that you have be early to get the spot you want.

With clumpy eyelashes I make my way outside. Just one more nice warm cup of tea before I make my way back through that concrete jungle out there. But what a great start of my long weekend.

In need for a relaxing moment of me-time? This way please….

Cool! Want to surprise your love or a friend? Try their duo arrangement.
Massage prices are from 33 euro’s for 30 minutes.
