Salad & the City Amsterdam: take-away and delivery saladbar

22 July 2015

Healthy food at Salad & the City in Amsterdam

For healthy food we can now go to take-away and delivery saladbar Salad & the City in Amsterdam! Recently opened on the Bilderdijkstraat. Secretly, I have been peeking inside the last few weeks. I so curious about the concept! Cause I think a healthy salad for lunch or dinner is always a good idea. You understand that I went there right after their first day to take a look at the saladbar and try some of their dishes.

Salad & the City Amsterdam

Salad & the City in Amsterdam was founded by two girls: Miriam and Judith. They share a passion for good food and the desire to make it easy to eat delicious, healthy salads. Because with the busy life’s we live nowadays, we rarely cook ourselves anymore. Therefore, the salad bar is not only a place where you can pick up food but they also deliver!

And now I hope that you can choose! The menu shows some really nice salads! An avocado salad with old cheese biscuits, a Caesar salade with homemade croutons, a melon fennel salad with salmon and for example, a parmaham salade with mozzarella and roasted peppers. Sounds good, does it? I have tried the melon fennel – and the parmaham salade. YUMMY! Especially the combination of melon and salmon. So, so, so delicious! You (still) think salads are boring? Go to Salad & the City in Amsterdam and try one here!
